Supporting Kids Running

We care about helping kids!

The Manhattan Cross Country Club was formed in 2004 to give kids a safe, age-appropriate introduction to the sport of running. Since that time, we have become supporters of our community as well, providing $58,500 to area schools to support physical education, and countless hours to develop opportunities for kids to express themselves through running and other physical activity. In 2015, we established a scholarship fund for graduating high school seniors who are interested in competing in cross country or track and field at the college level.

Here are some of the activities we will host in 2018, and will use the proceeds to build support for the regional running community:

March 16 -- St. Patrick's Day Road Races (Aggieville, Manhattan)

March 30 -- Body First Wicked Marathon and Half-Marathon (Oz Museum, Wamego)

Oct. 6 -- Body First School Fitness Challenge (Anneberg Park, Manhattan)

Aug 28 - Oct. 6 -- Manhattan CC Club season
